Partner GuardianMMS Launches New Beacon for 12V or 110V Powered Assets
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Guardian Mobile Monitoring Systems the leading provider of GPS-based, mobile security solutions for the security alarm monitoring industry, is pleased to announce the launch of the Guardian 1200 beacon for 12V or 110V powered assets. This device is one of the smallest GPS beacons in the world, with auxiliary input, internal antennas and a back-up battery built directly into the device. It communicates on the SMS portion of the GSM wireless network for low monthly fees yet has a number of alerts to aid in theft detection (zone violation, main power disconnect). Applications for this device include such powered assets as construction equipment and ATM machines. “We are excited about the launch of the Guardian 1200, our first Asset tracking product,” commented Rob Goehring, Vice President of Product Management and Marketing. “With over $1 billion in construction equipment stolen each year, we are looking forward to helping our partners and customers solve this problem.”
Using Guardian’s web-based mobile monitoring system, GPS resellers and their dealers can increase recurring monthly revenue by offering subscription-based mobile security services to their commercial and residential customers. Guardian’s platform currently supports the monitoring of vehicles and assets, with new products for goods-in-transit and people coming later this year. |
